One thought I offer is to agree that moving it would be a bad idea. Particularly since Dave has said that he wants to take a year off, he did not say he wanted to stop doing it entirely.
The continuity needs to be maintained in terms of facilities, lodging, etc. I don't see it as a traveling event, and I think that moving it would likely destroy it.
I am happy to help promote this event and help make it happen through efforts on the part of the Power Wagon Advertiser and the Power Wagon Advertiser forums. I had a special forum for the 20th Iowa Rally and can/will have a special forum for this 2008 event.
I am all for it....
