Am I not the only one to figure the time cost of money? We have to factor in the fun cost of using it to make it look better.
Related story: Local guy just won $10,000 in the Lotto. He says he has bought $10 of tickets per week "For as long as I can remember." That money per week in a mutual fund would also get someone $10,000 in a few years, but not make such a good story in the paper......
Sure beats the hit on buying a 2007 truck any way you figure it!
