Did you step brake the fenders or form them by hand to your center section's defining curve?

I saw a WC 1/2 ton hood that a tinner [sheet metal man] made for his truck. All step brakes, about 1/4 inch apart. I would not have thought anyone could have done so well. He did a beautiful job.
