I specifically didn't mention Dave, at the risk of playing favorites, but yes, how many would have took the gamble that he did and make it pay off?
For years Sweptliners complained about our rusty floor pans and door bottoms and lamented that they couldn't get replacement skins. Many trucks died to give up their rust free floors and doors. Now Dave offers a high quality, exact reproduction and a few other Sweptline body parts. The cry has changed from "I can't find them!" to "he wants $200 for those!"
I've made the same case for Dave's wonderful bedsides, sometimes I am baffled by it all.
It reminds me of something I heard last week when a flatlander nearly drove off the mountain trying to pass our convoy, "...if you're not sure your brain will get enough oxygen at altitude, don't come up the mountain...." = )
