Power Steering pump went out of my mom's cherokee, so I pulled it and it looks like the pressure line had leaked all the fluid out and ran the pump dry. The parts houses say that they can get all of the lines except the pressure line (the one I need) so, I'm wondering if I could just put regular o-rings back on the fittings and have it hold fluid. The original O-rings appear to be "shaped" not regular round profile.
Just curious if someone else had run into this before??
