I think you will find the overdrive of the NV4500 to much for the 251 as it doesn;t have the power needed.
The dodge version of the nv4500 may be better a better swap as its input shaft is longer than the chevy version giving you more room to work with. The BH will be a big factor to overcome as the nv4500 has its own bolt pattern and retainer dimension on the front of the tranny.
