oil pressure

Just started my T214 in my carryall, oil pressure went right to 80 psi. Everything inside the motor in new. I'm guessing this is not correct. Any ideas? Also having trouble with carb linkage for a Mod 29. Does anyone have a pic they can email me? I will post some pics of my frame off restoration later. Thanks guys.
