I used a slide hammer to remove the pins, just screwed it into the grease fitting hole. The guys on this forum clued me in on how to do this and it wasn't hard. A jack screw can be made with a socket as another alternative.

If you have a slide hammer to remove the pins, or buy one, it shouldn't be that hard of a job. One of my pins was broken in half. I drove the brass bushings out with a socket and replaced them. The nrw ones are rifled on the inside which allows the grease to circulate around the pin.
