The American car companies are marketing to the same people who are glued to American Idol, The Simpsons, Paris Hilton, Anna Nicole Smith, Al Gore's inconvenient BS, Michael Moores fat Ars, and all of the other crap that is destructive to America. The Japs are marketing to rational people who demand facts and figures not fluff. I have to laugh at Pontiac commercials. They show their cars with airbrushed wavy lines superimposed so the car looks like a fast cartoon car on a cartoon road. I guess they are embarrased to show the read deal on a real highway!
