You'll save yourself a ton of grief if you simply lose the computer all together. Install a MP electronic ignition, change your intake, and throw on a carb. Done!
If you insist on using the computer, take everything from the donor vehicle (gauges, transmission, sensors, wiring harness, etc. etc.) cause you're going to need it.
If all you're after is EFI, many aftermarket companies make stand alone EFI for a variety of applications. You can modify a MP intake to accept Holley's Chevy 350 set up.
