I have an engine identification dilema of my own; not a dilema really, as I only need to know out or curiousity.
I'm in the process of changing engines in my '57 W300. The engine that came out is a T-137. Have no books that
list this engine, but it's probably a 230. The engine that is now in is identical to it, except it is marked
N319189CAL. I have no clue what this engine came out of. If it was a 'T' or a 'P' I could figure it, but this
'N' business is beyond me. Can anyone help me out here?
Eventually, the T137 is going back in, after a much needed complete overhaul.
