I assume you have a 1/2 tonner? They were the last military Dodges to take a closed cab. A 1/2 ton military or its civilian equivalent would not mate to the hood on the 3/4 ton, and would sit too high.
Also, the wheelbase is longer on the ambulance than on the pickup. I assume you are using a longer box off a civilian truck?
BTW, I know where there is a 1/2 ton ambulance body at in Sandy, Oregon. If you are interested, I can ask the owner if he is willing to sell it. It is uncut, but is missing the rear doors.
I have a military closed cab pickup. I'd be willing to trade the sheetmetal for an uncut 1/2 ton command car body, or even a cut one if the cut pieces are with it.
