I have owned this WC53 for 30 years, When I bought it, it had a hemi in it. The firewall was cut and deepened to take the hemi. After I blew the hemi, I put a semi-hemi V8 in it till it went down the tubes. The gas crisis was on and I put a slant six in it to be economical. In those days I was dealing with mostly $50 to $75 engines. I used the WC53 as my daily transportation in the back woods area of Oregon. My kids (now grown) want "old blue" much like they remember growing up with him--so that is what I am doing. Lee
