I found a couple of WC 1/2 ton trucks on a trip out west, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what they were by the frame numbers.
The first one is a Carryall, it looks original and complete(rear doors are real nice! No rust, two seat frames, and a title!), I just want to know exactly what it is.
Frame # 81512245 The owner claims it's a '42.
The second frame number comes off just a frame and running gear(not a winch frame). The frame is not rusty(still has olive paint on it), and still has the complete front axle, transfer case, rear axle housing, and running boards on it.
The frame # is 81507877 I think this truck might have been a weapons carrier, since the cab had been replaced by a International cab at some point.
Is there any interest in frames like this? I can get it for a reasonable price, but I have no use for it, and I would only bring it home(WI) to resell.
Thanks for any help you can give me on the identification of the frame numbers, and the value of the frame and running gear.
