I happened upon a 1941 Dodge today. It looks like a 3 ton but
may be a 1-1/2 ton considering how Dodge rated their trucks back
then. It's at a salvage yard up the coast from L.A., CA. The
guy told me it's to be cut up for scrap today but I held him off
so I can strip some small parts tomorrow for my '41 WC. It's in
good shape, has a complete flat head 6 (looks bigger than a 218),
transmission w/PTO and a rear mounted winch behind the cab. No
bed. 20" wheels. Sad, too bad it didn't end up in hands of a
restorer. Cab is in good shape, doors are good, windshield
frame poor, 1 side light is there other is missing lens. If
anyone wants something off of it, I'll check my e-mail before
going and will try to link you up. His parts are a little
expensive though....
