It's a little different than the tranny mounted model. To use you must pull the 4wd lever back, put the Hi/Lo lever in the centered (neutral) position, pull the PTO lever back, place the tranny in desired gear, then let out the clutch. It also has a freespool lever on the winch itself. I was told earlier that it's a braden LU-2 rated at 8000 lbs. Kind of skimpy if you ask me but it looks easy to swap a MU-2 in if a body wanted to.
