The only VT reference I can find is 1954, a 259 cu. in. Hemi.
That is a VT334. For it to be later, such as a '58, it would have to be a W5, but still a 259 cu. in. motor.
The D500 is a 1956, 315 Hemi. The numbering system for the cars is much more precise than for the trucks.
To be a 354 truck, it would have to be have a C7, S7, T7, T8 or T9 all in 1959
