I have to pay $1300 to have the transom re-built on my 9 year old Thunderjet boat, because they didn't engineer it sufficiently for the maximum size motor they say can be installed on it. This because I am not the original purchaser and the "lifetime" warranty only applies to the original purchaser. They admit they didn't build it strong enough, but I have to pay for their error. There are many more, but you don't want to listen to any more.
