That's Cedar St in Wallace, Idaho. It was a nice show. Beautiful weather, quite a variety of vehicles. It's only a block from my office, so I pretty much have to enter something. I figure each year I'll enter a different truck until I run out. I know I'll never win anything, but what the heck. Next year it'll enter the telephone truck if I can get it to where it'll drive itself over the hill under its own power. I gotta say there wasn't a lot of mopar there. All the hot rods seem to be chevys and a few old-school flat-head fords. There was a pair of restored GPWs, I think one was a 42 and one a 41, and a M151. But it was basically for street rods and trailer queens. They do this every year on Mother's Day weekend as a fundraiser for the N.P. Depot museum. They had a fancy dinner, a band, and an Elvis impersonator last night. Tonight's party will be out in the streets and it sounds like it's already getting going. They have some CW band in the bandstand. There's 5 bars within a block of the bandstand so I'm sure the crowd will be well-lubricated.
