There are three problems that cause that:

1. The angle of the filler tube rubber hose has to be level or have a slight raise towards the side of the bed panel. If the rubber tube hose points downwards towards the side of the bed panel, you have to pump slowly. This is normally cause by incorrect thickness of bed boards.

2. Blocked or partially block air tube in the filler neck.

3. Type of gas pump nozzle that's used. If you use a pump that has the rubber recovery type, pull the rubber back, point the tip of the nozzle towards the bottom of the filler tube and pump. A little practice makes perfect. I can pump gas into my FFPW tank as fast as I can my car.
