You guys without the "benefit" of salted roads don't know what your missinng! How about a rusted out brake rotor! Metal was paper thin at the bend when it let go. This happened on my driver 2 nights ago. Luckily was just slowing up for a railroad track and no one in front of me. Made quite a noise and shook the truck everywhere. I've seen them break all the way around in the cooling ribs but this was a new one to me. I put it on Ebay if you want it ;) Let's hear some other weird breaks on vehicles. Kevin
