I can not explain the different materials used for the castings. I have seen one correct driver side Power-Wagon bracket cast in bronze.

In the attached eight images, is one of the brackets shown in images 2 or 3 (reading left to right, top to bottom) the one you borrowed from Steve? From the images, they both look the same and both look like they are in unbent original condition. The one I found in image 4 is bent down like I believe it should be to be correct for a Power-Wagon. Notice how the light bucket sits in close to the stake pocket and the bottom of the light housing is even with the underside of the stake pocket? The bend in the arm places the light bucket so it is on the same horizontal plane as the diver side light. Both lights are positioned equal distance from the center line of the truck.

I am not 100% convinced that the bracket in image #4 is correct though. It may have been altered. Something does not look quite right about the area where the triangle portion of the bracket rivits to the sheetmetal transition piece that the bucket bolts to. Maybe it was just that the bracket was severly bent at one time and had to be hammered back when the truck was restored. Or maybe it is a weldment of spare parts? These things can be created. My passenger side braket shown in images 7 and 8 is a forgery. I used parts from a couple of different brackets to make it. The joint was easy to hide.
