All of the conversions that you mentioned would only add MORE power to the Power Wagon. Mine has the original drivetrain and 251ci engine. I'll leave it that way because I like the idea that it is original, has a great deal of character and is capable just the way it is. Someone once told me that it wouldn't be wise to convert a truck that is original and in good running condition and I believe this to be true, because there are many Power Wagons out there in NEED of an engine. If a guy finds a rolling chassis that is in need of an engine, why not drop in the engine of choice. My next project will have either a 318 poly or Cummins 4bt. It will have a character of its own and will be a more driver friendly vehicle than the first. I'll love them both and yes, they will both be Power Wagons.
