If you take a look at an original Left side #1188 959 assembly like the one Matt just sold on Ebay you'll notice that it's the 45 degree angled bracket. If you look at the
#1189 555 bracket like Steve Fowlers original pictured that I copied you'll notice it's basically straight.
My first reaction when I saw his original was that someone has straightened it because you can see a bend in it...it's certainly not as straight as the Left angled bracket but after having a close look at it...it wouldn't be physically possible to straighten this bracket...it wouldn't be long enough & why would anyone straighten it anyway?
The strange part is that with the Right bracket being straight...the tailights are both at a different level...you follow?
What do you make of that?
