If you just swap the vin tags over to a slant six car, you are commiting a felony. If you just weld the cowl onto the other car, your still committing the same felony. Vin tampering is a very serious felony charge.

What is in that picture, is a legal car. the law states a car is anything from the cowl forward. but all of that area has to be there. This means finding that /6 satellite and cutting it in the same spot that the roadrunner is cut up at, then they are spliced together. This is perfectly legal doing it this way, but you will have the cowl #'s, the radiator support #'s and then you would need the vin tag off the dash as well, but if ever get checked and you do not have the correct rivits holding the vin tag to the dash pad, your boned. and your going up the creek for at least a year.

Second problem with this, is that the car will not be numbers matching. the body will be perfectly legal if you do it how i outlined it above, but it will not have the numbers matching engine and transmission. the vin number is stamped on both of these peices as well. so without that you have a hemi car with a different engine, which if done perfectly will bring 50-80k at barret jackson, which isnt worth it IMHO. Your better off to get more of a car, because trust me, these cars WILL nickel and dime you to death.
