Horn help

The horn on my '57 worked fine before taking it apart, cleaning it up, and putting it back together. Now it just barely makes a noise and begins to get hot. I tried adjusting the screw but it doesn't seem to do anything.

Any ideas? Does anyone have a page from a parts book that shows how it goes together? My parts book doesn't include the horn. Maybe I put it back together wrong?
