I have been traveling a lot the last couple of weeks. I went to Boise and then onto Reno. On the way back I noticed that the right fron tire on my non-Dodge dually was almost flat. AAA changed it for me. I found a nail in it which made sense. Thursday I had it fixed and I took off for Reno again. I go to Reno and the tire was low again and we aired it up and headed for Les Schwab. They came back and stated that they could not fix the problem. They showed me a small crack radiating out from the hole where the valve stem goes and you could see bubbles coming out of it when they put it in a water bath.

Fine I head for the dealer and they just laughed at me saying you are not going to get that taken care of on a weekend.

I wonder if the wheel is of sufficient strength for the GVW of the truck as I run very close to that weight. But is was the front tire which has more weight per tire and in subject to more torque due to steering. What ever happens the dealer will give me a new one as I am still in warrantee and I will have them inspect all of the rims. By the was these are alloy wheels that came on the truck from the factory.
