The earlier non synchro 3/4 ton trucks with a single speed transfer case came with the e brake on the back of the transmission. Nice set up but not fail safe. That is why all modern trucks have the e brake at the rear wheels.

You can easily bolt a standard DODGE yoke with the flanges for the e brake drum in place of the one that comes standard on the PW. The are used on all E brakes that attach to the tranny.

If you use the centered axle and connect to the e brake drum, you should take the original yoke that is offset and mill off the yoke flanges. This will stop anything from getting tangled up in it. I did that to my carryall.
