I hope you replied through eBay, and checked 'hide sellers email address'?
My feeling is that this is a scammer who can use your ebay name and your email address to pull some kind of shenanigans. Like contacting the ulimate winner, as if he were you, and soliciting payment to himself?
But I haven't used eBay since they started with the numbers for bidders.
