the protronix is much simpler, I bought a mopar kit for my 413 truck enginge and it would not work as i have a hard to find distributer. reverse gear. after considering maching mine, I discoverred protronix and could not believe how simple it was no brain, no resister just an electric eye basicly. put it on my flatbed could not believe how simple and how good truck runs
