What t-case a R-140 would have?? I have friend that has a R-140. It was almost mine, we found it at a junk yard some older rancher had brought it in, because the t-case had went bad.

It does not have t-case at all. He was draging his feet about if he should buy it or not, I told him if you dont I will! I think that kind of set him off to buy it. I was only going to buy it because they were getting ready to crush it. They sold it to him for $300, and it is pretty clean, since it is a western Colorado truck.

We loaded it on my trailer and took it to his house, had it running in less then a half hour, it did not smoke or anything, runs like a top! But can not be driven because it does not have t-case, so we riged up a long drive shaft for it so it can atleast be moved around.

My friend looked up the guy that brought it to the junk yard, from a co-op reciept he found in the glove box, turns out he bought it new and it had a nine foot pick-up box on it, that he later took off and put a flat bed with grain sides on it and it dumps now. Anyhow the rancher said the case went bad years ago so he parked the truck and never found another case and said he scraped the bad one.

Anyways do you know where he might be able to find a case from a R-140?

I see yours looks like it has 20 inch rims on it? Did you put them on? The one on ebay does also, I only ask because my friends has 16 inch split rims, and the onwer gave him some original paper work (I think it is the invoice?)on the truck and it said it came with 16' rims original.

I will argee with you on one thing, my W500 is a lot bigger then this truck. But my W300 sits just as tall as his R-140, the axles in his truck do not look any BIGGER then my dana 70's! I think if I put 20 inch rims on my W300 it would sit higher the his R-140.

Matt
