His bid is less than Magna's 4.7 billion, later than the March 31st deadline Daimler imposed, and may have a deal with a foreign auto maker. Renault? AMC tried that before with disastrous results. We need a stand alone North American Manufacturer that understands the American Marketplace.
The best part is that his VP, York, led the last Chrysler turn around and York also turned around IBM, so he has a good track record. Kerkorian offered Chrysler 22.8 billion ten years ago, now 4,5 billion, so you can figure that the jerries stole about 17.5 billion in equity.....
