most of the ww2 gauges are 6volt even on 12v trucks. i have a 12v gauge that is marked 12v and i think thats how you can tell. you can post a part number and i can check against mine if you want. there are gauges that have 2 or three sets of resistors that when you remove them you go from 24 to 12 to 6. i have a 6v in my 12v command car and that is the factory setup. there is a resistor that reduced power to 6v. i eliminated it and used a solid state resistor commercially called a runtz. seems to work well. i have a 12v wwii gauge that i bought in europe fits the hole but the bezel is little different. id sell it if you were interested. let me know. mannyc
