First thing I'd do is Check the ground. That can cause all kinds of weird things to happen. If that checks out I'd put the old one back on and make sure everything else still works(if it isn't too much of a hassle) It's possible it was wired wrong from the supplier but unlikely. Are you positive you put the cam mechanism in the same way? Kevin
