From what I have read the winches on the 57-71 W100-W300 worked as follows:
Everything got a LU2 from the factory except some W300s in the 60s when the MU2A (right AAA?) was an option. I have only heard of one W300 with this option, and it is AAA's Perkins Crew Cab.
As far as I know the only option for 57-60 W100-W300s was the LU2, though maybe SEG did other stuff not listed in the options.
W500s got the MU2 during the 1957-71 era as far as I know.
