likely you could, but the alternator bearings wont take the load. better to build a proper mount for a pump, install a dual pulley on an accessory and power it that way. otherwise, if you lose your generator, you would lose ps and winch too. there are lots of 2 groove pulleys available for gm alternators. mannyc
