Any road trip is a long one, either a few blocks or a few hundred miles. Figuring out how to get to that fence row from the interstate has been a treat. Smelling out things from far away. Sometimes I think my husband forgot where we were going until he creeps up on some old hunk-o-junk and then I thank God he's not loosing it, he just spotted something. Little scraps of paper with locations on them get washed when not removed from pants pocket!
