1/4 x 28???????????????

ok I give up, why dont all the 1/4 x 28 dies in america, fit any of the 1/4 X 28 screws in america?
comon I cant be the only one having this problem.
and yes I went to sears and bought a brand new die, and yes it matched my cheapo, checker auto set.
and yes i'v tried mcmaster, granger, MSC,
ace, ect.ect, ect. whats the problem?
someone please tell me so I can finish my armored bulldozer.
