I lay out my spark plug firing order. All the electrical layout shows the #1 plug on the distributor being in the 7 o'clock location. On my distributor I think its in the 5 o'clock location. CAN THIS BE RIGHT. I've just got the wiring completed. I've got oil presure, and I see some light smoke when I turn the motor over coming off the coil resistor? I only turned it over a few times to get the oil presure up. Is the just 5 years of dirt burning off?
Or am I getting ready to set it on fire or cook some thing in my electrical system?
I do have spark at the spark plugs.
