If you send an eBay messege, the seller gets both your eBay name, and your email address. He can then use it to scam some other guy. Like when you sell, the scammer can tell your buyer that he is you. Send him the money, Western Union.

My latest batch of sales for my business liquidation got waaaay too many questions. Then, somebody tried to scam one of the buyers. For $3,000.
