Norm, I think you need to back off a little. No one here is doing drugs and I know what you said to be true without needing anymore experience. For one forum, just one, try not to make people feel like a pile of sh*t. Real world experience shows that one tire on semi-good ground and 3 on ice will most likely not keep you going. Yes, it does happen, but I think Lem might have a lot of experience in muddy situations, so he knows that unless you have at least two tires on the ground, you aren't going anywhere.
Nothing Lem says is wrong. One tire on good ground is *most of the time* not enough to propel a Power Wagon through rough trails. "Maybe on flat dry ground but then we are talking apples and oranges, again." See what I mean? He never says it is impossible, just improbable. Yes Norm, I know you've done it every year for the last 45 years, therefore it is only improbable for the rest of us druggies.
Nothing you said was wrong either. If one tire is firmly planted, you WILL move forward, regardless of what situation your other wheels are in.
