...I've noticed that when I have both ARB's locked, I don't have as much articulation as when I have the diffs open. I think that the increased traction adds a torque load to the axle and flattens out the axle travel, it will easily lift one or more tires but never loses traction. That's just a theory, I haven't learned much in 45 years of driving off-road, you should ask Lem.....
