Sorry to hear about your situation. Even though it is difficult thing to face, I am sure you will deal with this in a very classy manner. So will Madero.
My guess is he learned from you how to love, care for, and help others.
I don't believe that a dog just gives love and trust unconditionally. We humans have to earn it.
I am sure you have earned Madero's love and trust and gave him a home and family that would be difficult to top.
I know these things by the way in which you share your knowledge to help others on this forum. You are always there with excellent advice.
Now, we can be there for you.
Take and appreciate all there is.
