A few years ago, I bought an M151 from, of all places, the Hill Country Animal League for $100.00. It was uncut, and missing the shortblock. It was a bit rusty, common.
I got on line, found a guy wanting to trade a running M37 for a MUTT in any condition. I had to take it to Alabama to make the trade, pushed the MUTT off, drove the M37 on. We were both happy.
I ended up putting a 318 Poly in it, and it is now my trail truck.
Funny how things can work out.
