Paul, I have a dog wheelchair I will send you if you want to try it.
We bought it for Pegasus when his legs quit working. He was a 90lb Boxer It's not easy, but it can work. We put him in it two or three times a day, so he could do his business unassisted and wheel around if he choose. We used it for about six months. His condition eventually progressed to where the wheel chair was not practical. He lived happily on a big pillow for another 12 months after that.
Wheelchairs are expensive, but we would be glad to loan you this one for free for as long as you can use it.
