for tires produced starting in 2000 the
production code WWYY where WW = Week & YY=Year
ie 2500 = 25th week of 2000
now prior to that the code was WWY
WW=Week & Y = year
ie 256 could be 25th week of 1996 or 25th week
of 1986
Michelin (not all others) used a little arrow
next to the Year code
so 256little arrow is 25th week of 1996
and 256no little arrow is 25th week of 1986
