I have basically done no research on either ARB or Detroit products as I am perfectly happy with my All-Trac (except for icy crowned blacktops - which I have no business driving my Power-Wagons on anyway). So, for me, the article sounded fair, unbiased, and was definitely informative...for me....though admittedly, maybe not up to par with the quality of writing from you and me....I mean..."YOU and I".
I would by all means consider an ARB product for my Power-Wagon, then I could drive on those icy crowned blacktops and cause my Power-Wagon to rust prematurely from the seasonings of our salt belt, if I ever broke my All-Trac, and if I could get the ARB unit in a version that required no air or electrics for control. I would need to see one available that is controlled from a big ol’ lever mounted through the center hump and connected to a Power-Wagon style cable or rod routing to the rear differential.
