This dealer emblem is on the 57 Powerwagon I'm starting to restore, it had been painted over( with a brush, like the truck!) and out of curiosity I stripped it today to reveal the fine detail. Did a little research on the image, it depicts the Kinzua Viaduct railroad bridge in Pennsylvania, built in 1882 and considered a civil engineering landmark at the time. When constructed it was the tallest such bridge in the world at 301'. The bridge met its demise in July of 2003 when it was destroyed by an Tornado of all things, that was classified an F-1. Has anybody ever seen this bridge?... Got me thinking about the work and craftsmanship that went into making these emblems.....nowadays you just get a decal...
