This is a rare place where we can share opinions and ideas about these trucks (and more). It has always been a classy place. I think most understand what it cost to PROPERLY restore a truck (Paint, bearings, gears, weatherstripping, sheetmetal repair, etc...) not putting a bandaid on an open sore. Personally, I love the original trucks, the unrestored gem with all its patina, not the shiny restored ones. That being said, I respect those that do the COMPLETE restoration, the time, the effort, and investment. Therefore, I feel telling someone that there truck is worth one tenth what they ask for it is uncalled for and an opinion best kept to oneself.
I am sort of talking out of both sides of my mouth by making these statements but I feel it should be said. I am all for opinions, but I see no point in disparaging someone else's Power Wagon.
