Very interesting to read your problem. I'm not much of a person to talk about things but I guess I will here. I have been laid up from a herniated disc in my back now for 3 weeks. Feb 7 is when it happened and I was flat on my back in bed for 2 weeks.
The disc between l4 and l5. The way I understand it is its l4 disc (mine is hurt)l5 disc tailbone. Pinchs the nerve and my right leg has hurt big time. I've gotton 2 shots in my back with the long needle. They have helped so far.
This week now I am able to get up and around and able to drive. I am slow and cant pick anything up right now.
I wont go into details but it happened at work but I thought I had a pulled muscle. Didnt say anything and went home. Many hours later I was at the ER. I'm on my own now. You learn fast just how well your employer doesnt take care of you.
I am hoping to recover from my problem. I will admit these last few weeks I have wondered what I will do if I dont recover. Right now I am not worth a hill of beans as I cant lift hardly anything. I cant help much with the 14 month old daughter. I cant lift the dogfood bag to pour in the bowl. Cant take out the garbage. No need to think about work to make money to pay the bills. No need to think about tinkering in the garage or driving the old vehicles.
You might get on the internet and read. I had plenty of time in bed with the laptop to study up on my problem.

I hear everyone about the pills. I was on a muscle relaxer and the loretab along with ibuprofen. I have given up the relaxer and loretab this week and feel much better. That stuff is hard on your entire digestive tract.
